Om Boeings nya Dreamliner
Jag läste i söndagens SvD om Boeings nya Dreamliner.
Där står.
Att en ny belysning bestående av ”unika” LED lampor under flygningen, ska motverka JETlag. Det är fantastisk, att det nu finns lampor, som på kort tid kan ställa om den mänskliga metaboliska klockan. Vem tror på det?
Att planet har högre cabintryck, vilket minskar risken för svulna ben och blodpropp. Vem tror på det? Svulna ben och risk för blodpropp uppstår på grund av att venpumpen i blodomloppet inte fungerar på grund av lång tids stillasittande.
Att luftfuktigheten blir högre ombord, vilket minskar symptom för uttorkning och JETlag. Enda sättet att öka fuktigheten är genom att minska ventilationen. Gammal utandningsluft blir då kvar och ökar fuktigheten, men den ökar också risken för spridning av bakterier och virus bland passagerarna.
Att med hjälp av vingarnas nya utformning och sensorer, anpassar sig planet till luftens turbulens och bidrar till en stabilare flygning. Vem tror på det?

The Chevron Schipping Company ordered some copies of my book “Life Resource Management CRM and Human Factors" to be delivered by mail to one of their supertankers. Here a helicopter delivers that post when the tanker is passing South Africa. The large Asian cruise line, Star Cruises, has bought 270 copies so far for their training.

We often took off in close formation of 4 Mustangs. On this picture I am No 2 and the picture is of No 3. No 4 can be seen just with the tip of the propeller behind No 3 and the top of his fin behind No 3s canopy.
